Week 21

Grades 3-6
This week we will be working on badminton skills. This is a new skill for our students and a new sport that they have not been exposed to during physical education classes before. The students are going to be learning different ways to pass the birdie with badminton rackets, different serves, and how to move during game play.

Grades K-2nd
This week the students will be working with scoopers and hula hoops. We will be going over different skills and tricks to use with the scoopers. Some skills and tricks include tossing with a partner, tossing up and spinning while catching it. With the hula hoops we will be teaching and going over different skills such as jump roping with the hula hoops, hoping in and out of the hula hoops, etc.

Mr. Hinkel and I hope the students are excited and enjoy physical education class! Next week we will be starting floor hockey skills.
